Better Know A Blogger With Tori Aka The Book Faery

Your Name: Tori
Stats: I typically get anywhere from 100-300 visitors a day... it all depends on what the content is. Giveaways can accumulate up to 500 visitors, sometimes. I'm interested in seeing what my blog stats will be for August ;)
Name of your blog : Book Faery
Started when? Feb 11, 2010
Number of followers? 784
What do you review? Paranormal books

How did you get the name for your blog?
Honestly? I wanted something cool. I have a weird tendency to love certain words like "sorceress" or "ice". I think they're so inspiring...I'm not sure why. When I used to play online video games, I thought names like "Flawless" and "Awaken" were cool too, but it was more due to the fact that the people I played with made the names awesome. It applies with book titles too; single word titles can be intriguing if the content is. For instance, the name Shiver holds so much more of a punch because there's an entire book backing the word up now. So when I sat down and went through a possible list, I wanted to pick a simple name that could... sound cool like that. I liked books, book in the name would probably work... and then I was like "Oh shit I could be like the tooth fairy!" Whether or not I was successful with that is an entirely different story. But it was pretty fun running around BEA announcing to people that I was the Book Faery. And it made them laugh. That's got to count for something.

How would you describe your blog?
A blog dedicated to all things paranormal run by some crazy Twitter addict.
What kind of blogger are you? Very organized or fly by the seat of your pants?
I vary. For events, such as The Battle of the Sexies, I started planning back in May. I told authors I needed their responses by July 25th the latest. That gave me plenty of time to get all my posts organized and scheduled. As for reviews and everything else? I tend to just fly by the seat of my pants. Weekly posts like The Faerie's Contest Finds and In My Mailbox were fun at first, but now I'm starting to grow bored of the same typical stuff over and over. Blogging's a bit more fun when you can fly by the seat of your pants ;) Then it doesn't feel like a job!
What is your favorite review or post for your own blog? (provide link)
Uhh... good question! I have a few posts I'm proud of, including: The Vampires vs Werewolves debate (it was a giveaway by Moira Rogers) and my very first guest post, which you can find on Heather's blog (Darkly Reading) I also enjoyed writing my book review for Insatiable by Meg Cabot. But there were a few reviews like that :)

Your favorite blog? All Things Urban Fantasy. It's run by the wonderful Abigail.

What are you reading right now? NOTHING! I just finished The King's Bastard the other day by Rowena Corey Daniels. It's a new fantasy trilogy coming out, and I loved it! I'm probably going to start reading a YA, or something by Vivian Arend next.

Do you have a picture of your TBR pile or bookshelf?
Unfortunately, it's on my phone. And no, I don't have bookshelves. The books just find some abandoned space and then just get piled on top of each other.
