2011 Debut Authors Challenge

As you may have heard, Kristi at The Story Siren is hosting the 3rd annual Debut Authors Challenge. For me, it's not about the prizes, but about the challenge. There is nothing better than reading a fresh new voice in the literary world. I participated last year and am definitely participating again.

For the challenge, you must list at least 12 books written by debut authors. Books/arcs I've already read do not count. I'll mark and keep track of them, as well as link reviews, as I go. I've also added a link above (in the pages) to help me keep tabs on myself. While 12 is the main goal, I'll be shooting for as many as possible! Here's my list of books:

January:
*XVI by Julia Karr (already read, does not count)
*Across the Universe by Beth Revis (already read, does not count)
*Entangled by Cat Clarke
*Timeless by Alexandra Monir

February:
*Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton (already read, does not count)
*Rival by Sara Bennett-Wealer
*A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford
*Where I Belong by Gwendolyn Heasley (already read, does not count)

March:
*Clarity by Kim Harrington
*Wither by Lauren DeStefano (already read, does not count)
*Entwined by Heather Dixon

April:
*Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton
*The Lipstick Laws by Amy Holder

May:
*Hourglass by Myra McEntire
*Divergent by Veronica Roth
*Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky

June:
*Possession by Elana Johnson

July:
*Bad Taste In Boys by Carrie Harris

***More to come!!!***

P.S. If you are participating in the challenge, let me know! I'd love to see what books you have on your list. Maybe I'll even add it to mine. :)
