Hard Bitten Blog Tour: Interview + Giveaway

Hard Bitten is the fourth book in Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series. If you haven't heard of the Chicagoland Vampire series, where have you been? It's pretty freaking awesome, and you want to be apart of that awesome.

Anyway, please welcome Chloe Neill to Addicted 2 Novels!




1. How did you come up with the Chicagoland Vampires series?

SOME GIRLS BITE was the second manuscript I wrote. I had read a number of paranormal romances (at least the few
that were out at the time!) and after writing a bit of fan fiction, decided to try my hand at writing a full novel. The first
few chapters I drafted were silly, frankly, but once I got a better sense of who Ethan was, they came together.

2. What can we expect to see in Hard Bitten?

More of Mayor Tate, more of Merit out in Chicago, doing her Sentinel thing. Romance. Action. Adventure. Sarcasm and
food, of course. All the usual, I think, all while we watch Merit grow into her position.

3. What was your favorite scene to write in Hard Bitten?

There's a scene at the end involving a flower called amaranth that I really, really like. I'm very proud of it! :)

4. If you could set Merit up with any other literary boy/man out there, who would it be and why?

JAMIE FRASER!!! He's the hero of Diana Gabaldon's OUTLANDER series. I'm not sure they'd get along, but he's so
delish. Or maybe Adam Black from Karen Marie Moning's HIGHLANDER series. Also very delicious. :)

5. Any music recommendations that will best fit the tone when reading book?
