Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It showcases each blogger's most anticipated books. This week, my pick is Passion by Lauren Kate.
**If you have not read the first two novels (Fallen AND Torment), I recommend you stop reading now. The summary might be spoilery.**
Summary:"Every single lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have chosen me. Forever."
Luce would die for Daniel. And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .
Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.
Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.
Sweeping across centuries, PASSION the third novel in the unforgettably epic FALLEN series hits stores Tuesday 14th June 2011.
Why I Can't Wait:The Fallen series is quite possibly one of the most frustrating, yet romantic series I've read in a very long time. I love the chemistry and relationship between Luce and Daniel. Heck, it's the main reason I keep coming back. After reading Torment, I'm dying to know more about Luce and Daniel's past lives together and how it will affect their future. Please let them be together...please let them be together. Sadly, I'm positive their future and what's to come is something that will not be answered till next year when Rapture, the final book in the series, concludes. I'm just hoping this book will not leave it's readers with a huge cliffhanger, but also know Lauren Kate loves those cliffhangers.
