Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It showcases each blogger's most anticipated novels. This week, my pick is Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti.
Summary: "Between Noelle’s struggles at home and the bullying she endures at school, all she wants is to get away from her small town. Noelle’s been nursing a crush on cute, wealthy Julian Porter for ages, but can’t imagine a guy like him could ever fall for a girl like her. When things heat up between Noelle and Julian, she has to decide whether she can be her true self with him."
Why I Can't Wait: To all you Susane Colansanti fans out there, you know how well she can capture teen angst and romance. To be fair, her books are either hits or misses to me, but this one definitely sounds like a hit. It's not the most original story, but still sounds like a very touching and heartfelt read. And the romance sounds super cute, too! I love it when the rich, hot guy falls for the underdog! Plus, like all of Miss Colansanti's books, the cover is adorable. Needless to say, this is high on my "want, gimme, gimme" list. :)
Expected publication: June 14th 2012 by Viking Juvenile
I've never heard of Susane Colansanti, which is odd, because I go for anything romance and love a nice YA. Sounds like my kind of story!!!
