Better Know A Blogger with Kailia from Reading the Best of the Best

Better Know A Blogger is a feature hosted by Karen from For What It's Worth, Tiger from All-Consuming Media, and myself, featuring bloggers we think you should know. Today I'm featuring the fabulous Kailia Sage from Reading The Best of the Best. Take it from here, Kailia!

Name: Kailia Sage

Blog: Reading the Best of the Best

Blogging since: I started this blog in September of 2009 but I really got serious with my book bogging in 2010.

How did you get the name for your blog?

It just kind of happened. The first book blog I ever saw was Reading Keeps You Sane and I fell in love with book blogging. I wanted something with reading and it just went from there.

How have your reading habits changed since you started blogging?

I read much faster than I did before and blogging has really narrowed down what kinds of books I like and what I don’t like, saving me a lot of time. I’ve also found so many amazing books that I necessarily wouldn’t have found if it hadn’t been for book blogging. Also, I now own an e-read and before book blogging, I couldn’t stand them! Now I’m very much in love with my Nook!

How do you choose which book to read next?

If I’m on a certain genre streak, I choose a book from that genre (i.e. contemporary at the moment) or whatever book looks good.

Who is your favorite literary couple?

I have a few that I can’t choose my absolute favorite from but they range from Lola and Cricket to Rose and Dimitri, and one of my oldest, Lizzie and Darcy!

What book are you looking forward to the most this year?

I can’t choose one so here are a few: Insurgent by Veronica Roth, Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore, and The Savage Grace by Bree Despain.

YEEESSS, Insurgent and Bitterblue! AHH! Kailia, thank you so much for dropping by Addited 2 Novels. Be sure to check out Reading the Best of the Best, where Kailia's passion for books really shines through!
