Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Since it's the first day of spring (giggidy!), today's topic is the top ten books on your spring TBR list. Let's do this!

BITTERBLUE- I've waited almost three years for this, y'all! More Po, please!

THE SELECTION- It's like a post apocalyptic version of The Bachelor, but with princes! EEP! Another reason why this is high on my TBR list? Oh, I don't know... How about the fact that CW is turning this into a series AND Aimee Teegarden from Friday Night Lights is playing America? Yes, that could be it!

SECOND CHANCE SUMMER- Loved Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, so how could I not look forward to this?

TAKE A BOW- I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Eulberg and absolutely adored The Lonely Hearts Club. It looks like this book will be told through four points of view from four very different performing artists, and I can't wait to tear through it!

SHINE- Super sad to see this series come to an end, however, also uber excited about seeing where Jeri Smith-Ready will take us. <3 Zachary <3

WHEN YOU WERE MINE- A modern retelling from Romeo's intended lover, Rosaline? Yes, please!

ZERO- Loved, loved, loved Party by Tom Leveen, thus, very much looking forward to his sophomore novel.

THE LIST- What can I say? I love mean girls, and I love Siobvan Vivian! Giggidy!

GILT- I'm a huge Tudors fan, and Catherine Howard's story is not one that's normally told. The fact that it's told through her best friend's POV is definitely a bonus. EEP!

SWEET EVIL- Southern girl + bad boy = win

That's it, folks! Now the question is, what are the Top Ten Books on YOUR Spring To Be Read list?

  1. Love you list! We have a few overlapping books (go figure!) but you made me remember a few I'd forgotten about... aka: When You Were Mine.

  6. @Magan- I saw your list! I can't believe I forgot about Timepiece and Insurgent

@Sandy- GOOD list! I just started The Immortal Rules and am loving it. Julie Kagawa is made of win!

@Jennifer- I didn't know The Selection was going to be a TV series either until my awesome buddy Hannah told me. I really, really hope the CW doesn't mess it up like they did with The Secret Circle. PLEEEEASE make it more like The Vampire Diaries. :-P

@Amy- Right? Tis going to be a good season. :-)

@Karen- Girl of Nightmares and Outpost are high on my wish list. I consider those to be summer releases since they don't come out till later (bastards...).

  7. I could have easily added pretty much everything on your list to mine as well! :) How did I forget to add Shine?? It's a mystery...
The Selection sounds so good, but I've heard mixed reports about it...
    Happy spring reading!

  10. Dude, I'm so with you on The List. The only reason it didn't make my top ten is because I don't have a copy yet, and I only picked books I know for sure are in my possession to read atm. I'm excited for Bitterblue even though I haven't started Graceling yet. I love being able to go through a whole series without having to wait!
