In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. I hope everyone had a fabulous week! Let's get this party started!
Won:
*Girl of Nightmares (Anna #2) by Kendare Blake. OMG, I was super excited to receive this. Not only is it signed, but it also has a little drawing inside...

For Review:
*Silence (The Queen of the Dead #1) by Michelle Sagara West
*Purity by Jackson Pearce
*Black Dawn (Morganville Vampires #12) by Rachel Caine (Haven't read this series, so I'm going to send this to my awesome friend Tiger at All-Consuming Media to review)
Bought:
*Me and Earl and The Dying Girl by Jesse Andrew (signed!)
**Special thanks to Kendare Blake, Penguin Teen, and Little, Brown**
Now, a little Teen Book Con recap.
You guys, I cannot tell you how much fun I had yesterday! I mean, when you get to meet authors like Siobhan Vivian, Elizabeth Eulberg, Holly Black, Michelle Zink, Maggie Stiefvater, Lisa McMann Marissa Meyer, Tara Hudson, Inara Scott, Jesse Andrews, and Jessica Spotwood, you're bound to have a good time. It probably also helps that I got to spend my day with these awesome ladies...
Sarah from Storybound Girl and Jess from Gone With The Words.
Jenn from Novel Thoughts, Lindsi from Books, Sweets, and Other Treats, and Deidra from Simply Books Simply Music.
Ginger from GReads and Jess, again.
LOVE THESE LADIES!!! There were other bloggers I heart there, too. You know who you are, and I'm so happy I got to see you guys again.
Moving on, the panels yesterday were pretty awesome. My personal favorite was the Reality Bites one featuring Jesse Andrews, Elizabeth Eulberg, Lisa McMann, Ruta Sepetys, and Siobhan Vivian. We were cracking up so much during this panel. Twas awesome!
At the end of the event, I got to meet some of my favorite authors and get a bunch of my books signed. Word of advice: If you go to an event like this, buy your books at the beginning. Because I waited till after lunch, a lot of the books I wanted to purchase were sold out. Great for the authors, sad for me. Oh well, next time! Anywho, here's a pic of all the books I got signed:
Teen Book Con was such a great event. Thank you so much to all the volunteers, authors, Blue Willow, everyone that helped organize this extraordinary event. I had a blast and look forward to experiencing all of this again next year. :-)
XOXO,
