Top Ten Books For People Who Like The Hunger Games

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the fabulous ladies at The Broke And The Bookish. This week's topic is kind of a choose your own adventure...and as far as adventures go, there's none more interesting than The Hunger Games. Thus, here are my Top Ten Books For People Who Like The Hunger Games.

Tell me you didn't see this coming. Seriously, the best thing to do after finishing THE HUNGER GAMES series is to start reading DIVERGENT. Also, with DIVERGENT comes...

It's a rarity when I can say the sequel is even better then it's predecessor.

I think DELIRIUM offers more romance, less action than THG, but it's still equally as intriguing and heartfelt.

I know ARTICLE 5 has mixed reviews out there, but this little blogger LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. I couldn't put it down. There is no world more terrifying than the one being controlled by cruel humans.

This book is being described as when GAME OF THRONES meets THE HUNGER GAMES, and I couldn't agree more. You NEED to get your hands on this book come August. NEED to.

STARTERS is just as cool and creepy as it's cover. It's kind of like THG meets THE HOST. At least that's what it reminds me of.

Okay, so I know ENCLAVE is more post-apocolypic as oppose to dystopia, but that doesn't mean THG fans won't love it. Deuce actually reminds me of Katniss in many different ways. You'll have to read it to find out why.

Holy crap, this book is scaaaary but oh so good. Right, that!

Out of all the worlds these dystopia novels offer, this one is one of the worst. You know it's bad when being a woman becomes a curse.

To be honest, I was thought this book was very so-so after I finished it. After 5 days, I realized I was still thinking about it, and that's when I knew I loved it. If you simple can't get your mind off a book, that means it's made of win.

That's all she wrote! What book did you guys pick for your Top Ten Tuesday? Have you read any of the books I listed above? Tell me, and feel free to leave links to your TTT posts below.

Love y'all!

  1. I picked Hunger Games for my Top 10 too! And I also picked Divergent and Maze Runner, although I didn't stick to only dystopians. And I agree, Insurgent was better than Divergent (I only listed first books in a series in my list though). I still need to read a bunch of your books - most interested in Throne of Glass and Starters. Great list!

  3. LOVE THIS LIST, Lena! I haven't read Article 5 yet, but I will. Soon. Promise. Also haven't read Eve yet either. I tried ordering it on Amazon last week when it was $2.99 but I missed the deal. :( Boooo.

  4. I obviously agree with Divergent/Insurgent.(Seriously, I want the next book already! We need more Four in our lives!)

I've actually not read many of the others, but must make it a mission to do so! ESPECIALLY Delirium.

  5. I have only read Wither and Divergent and I have Insurgent, Delirium, and Enclave on my my shelf at home. I haven't started Insurgent yet because I've heard mixed things, some people loved it while others hated it while others hated it until the end and then loved it xD.

  6. Awesome list. I am on the waiting list at my library for Enclave!! I am really looking forward to reading that one. I have read half of the other ones you mentioned and loved them.

  7. I haven't read a SINGLE book on this list. How pathetic is THAT? Though I own six of them. Do I get points for that at least? **sighs** Darn TBR pile. It's a monster...lol.

  8. I hadn't thought of Delirium as a book for The Hunger Games fans, but now that you mention it, I totally agree.

  9. I've only read one of these (well...two if you count The Hunger Games), but all of these are on my TBR, which means there must be something wrong with me for not picking them up yet! Great TTT :D
