Top Ten Favorite Books I've Read During My Lifespan

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish. This week's topic is my Top Ten Favorite Books I've Read During My Lifespan. Ahhh, time to get creative! It's game time!

My favorite series will always be Harry Potter, but my favorite Harry Potter book? Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Word.

When I was a kid, I use to beg my mom to read me Where The Wild Things Are every night. It's the one book Chris (my love) and I have in common. :-P

I cannot tell you how much I hearted Where The Sidewalk Ends. Maybe that's why I'm such a fan of poetry and verse?

Can't leave out The Hunger Games!

Lawdy, how I love me some Shiver. I laughed, I swooned, and I cried like a new born baby.

This Lullaby was my first Sarah Dessen book. Needless to say that after reading this book, I ran out and bought the rest.

How many times have I mentioned Daughter of Smoke and Bone on my blog? Seriously, if you haven't read it by now, YOU NEED TO!

Whenever my bro and I were in college, he threw this giant book at me. Told me I'd love it. What was that book, you ask? A Game of Thrones. 6 years later and 5 books down, I can honestly say that this series is the one that first got me into fantasy novels.

Going Too Far is still one of my favorite contemps!

And of course, Looking For Alaska. Can't really have a list like this without one of John Green's books, right?

And that's all, folks! Hope everyone is having a fantabulous Tuesday!

XOXO

  2. I love Harry Potter. I'm planning to mimic my cousin and reread it every single year - at Christmas! LOVE that series FOREVER. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.

Shel Silverstein, on the other hand, was definitely one of my favorite authors growing up. I have a lot of his books! They're so amusing.

This Lullaby was my second SD book - and I loved it just as much as the first. And Shiver is AMAZING.
