Top Ten Books I'd Want On A Deserted Island
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the fabulous ladies at The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten books you'd want on a deserted island. Woop, let's do it!
Seriously, if I'm going to be stuck on a deserted island, I might as well have Lucas there with me. Fo' shizzle.
The girl escaped from what I can only describe as a high security penitentiary in the middle of nowhere. Maybe I'd learn something from her. And speaking of survival skills...
A true fan wouldn't ask me why.
Hey, I'm from Texas. Football is in my blood! Also helps that this book is hilarious and wickedly sexy.
Can't go anywhere without my lover/cop John.
For when I think my life really sucks. Ha, just kidding...sort of. For when I need to escape and read something truly beautiful.
Just in case I need to learn to steal from monkeys or whatever. Also in case I need a feel good, fun read.
Because I heart Cricket like whoa.
I originally thought DIVERGENT, but then remembered how much more I enjoyed INSURGENT. Can't live without it!
Ahh, my current obsession. I cannot sum into words how truly amazing this book is. Love, love, love it!
That's all! What books would you guys pick if you were on a deserted island? Let's just hope this deserted island as wi-fi. Just saying. ;-)

I love your choices! There are a few on there I have not read (and I bet you can guess which ones they are), but I PROMISE I'm going to!
ReplyDeleteGreat variety! Some of these books I could read over and over again so they'd be perfect if stuck on a deserted island for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI kind of love Cricket Bell as well. (:
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten
Most AWESOME list. I just bought The Darkness Shows the Stars. Now, I really can't wait to read it.

awe great list. Can I come with you on the island :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome list!! Very creative.
ReplyDeleteGoing Too Far is also on my list too, are we sharing JohnAfter? I get him Monday-Tthursday and you get him on the weekend? haha. I really need to read Easy, like a month ago! And Darkness Shows the Stars! Heard so many good things about it. Heist Society is a good edition to the list (my island, the monkeys are my friends lol)
ReplyDeleteNice list! I haven't read many on it, but I definitely agree with the ones I have. I didn't think about bringing The Hunger Games, but that'd be a great one to bring along.
ReplyDeleteI love Going Too Far, it's definitely my favourite Echols Book, not to mention swoony John. Stephanie Perkins is always a good choice and The Hunger Games is such an entertaining book I could read again and again. I really must get round to Easy, Catching Jordan, Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Insurgent! Great list :)
ReplyDeleteI would take all of Tammara's books too, definitely Going Too Far and CRICKET!
ReplyDeleteI would want a few books that made too me laugh. After all I'm stuck on an island.
Throne of Glass looks soo good, going to have to try that one!
