Top Ten Best Sequels Ever

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the fabulous ladies at The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten best sequels ever. Oooooooo, it's on!

1. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. . Seriously, the books in the HP series each get better and better. It didn't take me longer than a day to devour this goodie.

2. Where She Went by Gayle Forman. Gayle Forman needs to write more male point of views. She gets them and most of all gets us, the reader. Love you, Adam!

3. Fire by Kristin Cashore. Technically, Fire is the companion to Graceling. Bitterblue is the true sequel, but I had to mention Fire. It's my favorite of the three and quite frankly one of the best fantasy novels I have ever read.

4. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. This lady was born to write. I smiled, I cried, I became frustrated to the point of no return only to get sucked right back in. Too many feels!

5. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. It's always difficult for me to describe the concept of these novels without someone giving me a strange look. Just know that they're good, and Scarlet is even better than Cinder.

6. Deception by C.J. Redwine. More fantasy! So much happened in Defiance that I questioned where the author would go from there. Well, apparently she has plenty of places to take us. Action, action, action!

7. Insurgent by Veronica Roth. Sweet mercy, how I love this book. I believe Karen and I were texting each other our favorite quotes and both died a very amazing Four fangirl death.

8. A Million Suns by Beth Revis. Okay, I'm normally not a huge sci-fi fan, but this trilogy has be questioning everything I once knew about myself. Goodness, I cannot tell you how insane this sequel is compared to Across The Universe.

9. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. Of all things that make this trilogy amazeballs, the main character also has the best name in the world. Just saying.

10. Froi of the Exiles by Melina Marchetta. Yes, another fantasy novel. To be fair, while I liked Finnikin of the Rock, I didn't love it. Froi though? Froi I loved!

There you have it! What are some of your favorite sequels?
